National Organic Initiative (NOI)

The NOI is a coordinated program to develop export markets for U.S. organic and natural foods. It assists companies with export promotion. It is divided in 4 regional organizations.

U.S. companies are eligible to receive up to 50% reimbursement for certain international marketing activities.  Eligible activities include international trade shows, advertising and select domestic trade shows.  The program is called the Branded Program and it is administered by State Regional Trade Groups (SRTG).  Each SRTG covers a geographic region of the United States.

Description:

Food Export USA - Northeast is a non-profit organization that promotes the export of food and agricultural products from the northeast region of the United States. The organization has been helping exporters of northeast food and agricultural products sell their products overseas since 1973, when it was first created as a cooperative effort between 10 northeastern state agricultural promotion agencies and the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).

Food Export-Northeast is one of four State Regional Trade Groups (SRTG's) that assists companies with export promotion. Three other regional groups, Food Export Association of the Midwest USA,  SUSTA and WUSATA  provide similar services for companies based or sourcing product from outside of the Food Export-Northeast 10-state region.

Food Export Association of the Midwest USA is a non-profit organization that promotes the export of food and agricultural products from the midwestern region of the United States.  The organization has been helping U.S. suppliers of Midwestern food and agricultural products sell their products overseas since 1969, when it was first created as a cooperative effort between 12 Midwestern state agricultural promotion agencies and the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).
